I want to make some money. I have money that can be invested. I am considering investing in the US stock market which is the most appealing investment platform to me presently. Does anyone know how I may go about this as a non-US resident?

I am a Commerce graduate with Masters diploma in Business Administration. I am on job since 7 years but I haven’t got an opportunity to get a job with good salary package. All my studies were distance learning. Now I want to know whether doing SAP Finance could get me the required job satisfaction with good salary package? Please suggest whether I should opt SAP or not.

Can the stock market outperform the regular market (economy)? There’s something I don’t understand. Let’s say there’s 100 corporations and those corporations control the entire economy. Let’s say those corporations each have a PE of 20. Now let’s say over 100 years, the economy has grown at an annual rate of 6%. If their PEs are still 20, then wouldn’t that have meant their stock value has grown at an annual rate of 6% too. I know this is a simplified example, but I just don’t understand how "the economy" can grow at a different rate than "the market." Long answers are welcome, if they’re understandable.

If I have accumulated some stock market losses this year, how will I be able to deduct them from my taxes? It looks like I’ll only be able to deduct k this year. What happens next year? If next year is a good year, will the remainder of the losses go towards cancelling next years gains (hopefully)? Or will only k of that go towards gains each year? In that event, it could take a long time to deduct these losses at k a year. I’ll have to keep the year-end statement for a long time this year.
