I am interested in pursuing a finance degree from The University of Phoenix. I am looking for a career path that interests me and has the possibility to make some good money. I have always been interested in financial planning, stocks, investing, management, etc. This is why I would be interested in learning about the financial feild. My downfall is that math is not my strongest point. I mean I know the basics and if you give me a calculator I am even better. Do you HAVE to be super strong in mathmatics to obtain this degree and get a job in a related feild? Does anyone have a degree in finance? What do you do? Do you enjoy your job? Details please :-)

Thanks

I’m an accounting major planning to do a minor in Finance and need to know what are the useful classes in Finance I should take? Here are the courses I can choose from; Financing New Ventures, Managing Corporate Assets and Liabilities, Intermediate Investments, Financial Analysis and Modeling, Finance in the Global Environment, Advanced Corporate Financial Planning, Introduction to Options and Futures, and Seminar in Finance. I have already taken two Finance classes towards my minor and need to take three more.

Not only am I interested in this myself, but my boss has asked me to start compiling some helpful information regarding this. She wants to start a program that will help young people become "financially literate". I’m just having trouble finding some good material to use in a packet. I have a couple things like a budget calculator sheet and some tips to stay in budget, but I need some info on investment and financial planning.
